Mj Ghrist, a Health Educator from Clemson, has partnered with Starr-Iva Middle School students to learn about MyPlate and well-balanced meals! Students recently learned the importance of vegetables in every meal and limiting salt. Together, they crafted yummy pizzas! 🍕👩🏽🍳😋

Tomorrow and Friday SIMS will be hosting our Annual Corn Hole Tournament to benefit our school Angel Tree Holiday Assistance Program. All students can be a spectator for a $1.00 entry fee each day during their related art class only. Concessions will be sold. All proceeds will benefit our Angel Tree fundraiser.

Together, they read the salt, fat and sugar content and made yummy mozzarella cheese sticks and marinara sauce while learning to make healthier snacks! 🧀👩🏽🍳😋
