This a friendly reminder that all Algebra I and English I students in the eighth grade will take the PSAT starting at 8:30 a.m. in the morning (October 18th). Please make sure that students have charged their Chromebooks as they will be using them for testing.

Mj Ghrist, a Health Educator from Clemson, continues to partner with some of our students to learn about MyPlate and well-balanced meals! Students recently discovered nutrition labels and how to read them. Together, they read the salt, fat and sugar content and made yummy mozzarella cheese sticks and marinara sauce while learning to make healthier snacks! 🧀👩🏽🍳😋

Please complete the form and have your student turn it in to their homeroom teacher by Monday, October 8th. Please do NOT turn forms into the front office.

Attention 8th Grade Parents:
Any 8th-grade student currently enrolled in Honors English I or Honors Algebra I will take the PSAT as part of the SC Junior Scholars Program. The test will be administered here at SIMS on Wednesday, October 18th starting at 8:30 am through 11:30 am.

7th graders are learning about muscle fatigue in Science! These students from Mrs. Meredith’s class are seen timing and charting how long their muscles could withstand fatigue. 💪🏽
