The SIMS Robotics Team visited the Anderson Arts Center last week. They had a blast taking a tour of the center and learning more about what they offer!

Monday: Twin Day
Tuesday: Decade Day (Dress from another decade)
Wednesday: Movie Character Day
Thursday: School Spirit Day
Friday: Role Reversal Day (Students dress like teachers/admin and vice versa)

Students have been working hard to collect classroom recycling bins once per week. They collect plastic bottles and jugs, cardboard boxes, old books, and mixed paper. With the help of Mrs. Wiles, they are seeing first hand how to make a positive impact on our planet! 🌎


Mr. Rose and Mr. Stevenson from the Lake Hartwell Power Squadren came to speak with the 7th grade AG Ed Boaters Safety Classes today. Thank you both for sharing your invaluable experience with our students.


Congratulations to Jacob Hewell for being awarded Anderson University's Classroom Development Grant. This Grant is for teachers with less than 5 years experience to be used for school supplies and resources!


PSAT testing will be held at Starr-Iva Middle School for eighth grade students enrolled in honors English I and honors algebra I on Wednesday, October 16th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
