Meet #A3AllStar, Coach Stephanie Stowe! ๐
Mrs. Stowe is a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Starr-Iva Middle. This is Stephanie's 10th year at SIMS, but she was born and raised in Anderson 3. In addition to teaching, she coaches multiple sports. She is married and has one daughter, Cooper, and two stepdaughters, Abi and KG. ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ซ๐ฅ๐
"What do you value most about teaching and coaching?"
"I love watching all students learn and grow. I have the opportunity to work with most students in the school and get to know them over their three years here. I also especially enjoy working with students with unique and special needs. It is one of the most rewarding "jobs" that you could have. Nothing beats spending your work day with the best kids and being part of why they smile each day!" ๐
Coach Stowe's nomination included: "Stephanie has been such an asset to our team this year. She works hard to plan engaging lessons for Health and PE while also managing to assist with car duty and bus duty as needed without being asked. She has the unique ability to build relationships with students who may typically have trouble connecting with others. She's always present and always positive. We are lucky to have her on our staff. She makes SIMS a better place!"
Coach Stowe continues to make an impact in the classroom and on the playing field. We are blessed to have her; she is truly an #A3AllStar! ๐๐ฏ๐ค
