"Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students."
Mrs. Brewster was a "Brown Bear" in Mrs. Brown's 1st grade class. Mrs. Brown is a retired A3 educator who instilled in her students a love of learning and influenced Mrs. Brewster to become a teacher. Mrs. Brewster now teaches Reid, Mrs. Brown's grandson. Teachers make a difference in the lives of students and help shape the future. We are so thankful for these amazing A3 educators!

The Anderson Elks Lodge #1206 will host the Elks Hoop Shoot on Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Flat Rock Elementary School gym. This is a free event and is open to all students ages 8 through 13. For more information, contact Doug Moses at 214-598-0734.

Mrs. Caldwell's 2nd grade class had a great start to the new year! They read the book โOne Word for Kidsโ by Jimmy Page, Dan Britton, and Jon Gordon to better understand what it means to have a word for the year and how to choose one. After students chose a word for themselves, they wrote it on a card to keep in their cubby. Together we also made bracelets with our words so we have a daily reminder of what we want 2024 to look like!
