Mrs. Brown's class learned all about fire safety last week. They finished off the unit with an experiment, which allowed them to extinguish a "fire" with baking soda and vinegar!





Next week, Iva Elementary says โBOO!โ to drugs! Red Ribbon Week starts Monday. Donโt forget to wear red!

Iva Elementary's Robotics Team did a fantastic job at Thursday night's District Robotics Competition. We're so proud of the Galaxy Gang, and of all the hard work they have put in this year!




Frankly, we love music!

Flu shot online consent forms are due by this Thursday, October 25. Paper consent forms are due by October 30 at 2:00 pm. Forms are available in the school office.

Change Challenge for the United Way is on at Iva Elementary.


Fifth-grade STEM students used their knowledge of the Industrial Revolution to engineer assembly lines. The students worked together to create colored "bricks" for a toy company.



Mrs. O'Quinn's Kindergarten class received lap desks, scoop chairs, and clipboards for each student! A special thanks to a sweet family for their generous donation!


K5 kids had a great trip to Callaham Orchard's pumpkin patch!

Award winning storyteller, Doug Berky visits Iva Elementary. Mr. Berky designs and constructs his own masks for his performances.
