Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who accumulated enough behavior points for the month of August were rewarded with a Behavior Block Party! Thank you, Joy Comes, for providing our students with games, activities, snacks, and all around FUN! 🤩 You truly brought joy to Flat Rock! We are proud of our students. Math Fact Fluency Wars are officially underway in Mrs. Miller's STEAM classes! 🎉 During the last week of each month, students in first and second grades will compete to showcase their fluency with addition facts. Third, fourth, and fifth graders will compete using multiplication facts. Be sure to study your facts nightly to secure your winning spot in our fluency games!

Attention families of K4, K5, 1st, & 2nd grade students: Flat Rock has created a virtual classroom for your little one to explore while at home. 💻 Our virtual classroom includes activities, videos, games, read-alouds, and practice for reading, math, and phonics! Links are designed to reinforce what your child is learning in the classroom. Is your child learning to speak English? We have a slide for that, too!
Almost every object in our classroom is linked to an external activity. As you hover, wait for the mouse to turn into a "hand" to click. When you're ready to return to the home page, click the orange icon with the white house in the lower right corner of each slide.
Our virtual classroom will work on a laptop, Chromebook, tablet, or cellular device. Make sure if you are using a tablet or phone to click the "play" button to present on the device. ▶️
