Today, Flat Rock received the grand prize wellness award from MUSC Boeing Center for Children's Wellness, specifically the MUSC BCCW School-Based Wellness Initiative! 💧🍇🏃🏻♀️

Mrs. Blanton, a first-grade teacher at Flat Rock Elementary, is in her second year as a teacher. Initially a paraprofessional, Jessica found her calling in the classroom and worked hard to make it a reality.
"Jessica is proof that it is never too late to follow your dreams, and she works daily to make sure she is achieving that dream for her students, herself, and our school. Her students feel seen, heard, and supported every day, which creates a classroom culture of trust and high expectations."

For the last four years, Mrs. Swope has served as a second-grade teacher and is known for her calm presence, deep compassion, and unwavering consistency. She pours love into every lesson and every interaction, making sure her students know they are valued. With a patient spirit and dependable heart, she takes the time to understand where her students are so she can take them even further. 💛📚
🧡 Mrs. Amanda Snelgrove is Flat Rock’s Support Staff of the Year! Thoughtful, dependable, and endlessly kind, Mrs. Snelgrove is always there for her 4K students and coworkers. Her heart for children shines through in everything she does. She has faithfully served in Anderson 3 for 9 years! 🌟🐾
