At the groundbreaking, Michele Wiles, now a 4K teacher at FRES, predicted the school would “bring life back to the community.”
She was right.
Flat Rock Elementary has become the heart of a growing community and a place where students and staff walk in growth and learning together every day.

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Battle of the Books championship teams! Our 5th graders won the title of "School Champions" and both teams participated in highly competitive battles all week!
Our first graders have been practicing their informational text reading and writing skills. They've read a nonfiction selection about crabs and have completed these awesome informational posters.

💛 Flat Rock Beta Club Service Project — All Students Welcome! 💛
We are excited to kick off a special donation drive to support children who are staying in the hospital for an extended time. Our Beta Club is collecting coloring books, crayons, and colored pencils to help bring comfort, joy, and a little creativity to their days.
We would love for our Flat Rock families to join us in this project!
