🎓Peter Seltzer plans to attend Lander University and major in Biology. Peter's advice to underclassmen is "Clean out your bookbag because there’s a lot of paper you need to keep track of."
🎓Magdalene Penn plans to attend a 4-year college to become a travel nurse.

🎓Tron Paul plans to attend Clemson University and study Computer Engineering. Tron's advice to underclassmen is "Cherish these 4 years with your friends because it flies by."
🎓Annalisa McCall plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in Nursing at the honors college. Annalisa's advice to underclassmen is to "Fill out scholarships early."
🎓Hailey Bissett plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in history. Hailey also plans to do color guard with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corp, a professional marching group. Hailey's advice to underclassmen is "Be courageous and ambitious."
Congratulations to Will Diedrick on his acceptance to the University of South Carolina! Will has also been accepted into USC's School of Music and plans to join The Carolina Band. Will, we are so proud of you!
Tri-County Technical College Dual Enrollment Meeting - Rising 11th and 12th graders:
If you are planning to take dual enrollment courses next year, this meeting is for you. If you are new to dual enrollment courses, it is mandatory that you attend one of the two scheduled meetings this week.
Tuesday, March 25 at 5:30 in the Media Center or Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 in the Media Center. You will only need to attend one of the meetings.
Please bring a parent or guardian with you to the meeting. You will also need your CHROMEBOOK, DRIVER'S LICENSE/ID, and your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. If you have any questions, please reach out to your counselor.

🎓Kaitlyn Thompson plans to attend Anderson University and major in music education. Kaitlyn's advice to underclassmen is "Get up every day and do your very best. Work your hardest in everything you do because you do not get that time back. If you want to learn something, do it now. Ask questions. But in everything you do, remember you are growing yourself for the better. On hard days, do not give up because those trials will pass into something far greater than any of us could imagine."

🎓William Diedrick plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in music education. William's advice to underclassmen is, "Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. You never know who you’ll meet! "
🎓Kalee Austin plans to attend Tri-County Technical College to study Veterinary Science. Kalee's advice to underclassmen is "Work hard. Do your work and show up to school and you’ll do just fine."
🎓Matthew Howard plans to attend Tri-County Technical College to get a degree in Mechatronics. Matthew's advice to underclassmen is "be a part of the process of learning not the issue."
Mrs. Jordan's Art 3 and AP art class visited the Lee Gallery at Clemson University and toured the art and architecture programs. The exhibit on display, Conversations, created by local and international artists, showcased art exploring shared human experiences, blending personal stories with community connections. Students completed an activity called "Critical Eye, Critical Mind," where they discussed not just what they saw but how it made them feel. 🎨💬 🖼️
👋Meet Carolyn Cann, Alexis Williams, and Shay Edwards!
🎓Carolyn Cann plans to attend Anderson University to become a history teacher and plans to participate in color guard. Carolyn's advice to underclassmen is "Don’t let anyone take your shine. Be yourself! Do things that make you happy!"
🎓Alexis Williams plans to attend Newberry College and major in business. Alexis' advice to underclassmen is "Ignore drama and be yourself, life is easier without people who involve you in drama."
🎓Shay Edwards plans to attend Tri-County Technical College. Shay's advice to underclassmen is "Don't waste your time on distractions, focus on your schoolwork"
Emma Grace Vernon, a senior at Crescent High, has won Jostens' NATIONWIDE Graphic Design Contest, awarding her $1,000. Emma Grace's Class of 2026 design will be featured in their upcoming senior apparel catalog. 🎓🎨🎉

👋Meet Chloe Adams! Chloe says, "After high school, I'm exploring different paths to find what fits best—whether it's teaching, cosmetology, or culinary arts." Chloe's advice to underclassmen is "Don't quit—work your way to the top and graduate. Don't drop out when you have the potential to achieve so much. Life is hard, yes, but you have to stay strong and keep pushing. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. My favorite quote is 'Never judge a book by its cover.' I love this because it reminds us not to judge others before getting to know them. Stay strong and keep being the beautiful and handsome people you are!"
👋Meet Sarah Huey! Sarah plans on attending Savannah College of Art and Design to study film and television. Sarah's advice to underclassmen is "Don't make dumb decisions."

This week's "Did You Know?" shows the great success of Crescent's work-based learning program and its partners. Over the last 5 years, we have had 15 students participate in the Michelin Apprenticeship Program. Upon successful completion of this program, these students have been offered full-time employment opportunities locally with Michelin. #TigersTogether

This week's "Did You Know?" highlights one of our many great AP programs! In 23-24, 91.7% of AP Human Geography students scored a 3 or higher on their AP exams. This was a 30.2% increase from 2022! This score percentage was also 41% higher than the global average! #TigersTogether

Anderson Institute of Technology (AIT) will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow, Thursday January 23. Attendance is optional for Crescent High School students as the transport bus will not be ran.
