Mr. Watt is returning to Anderson 3 as a Special Education Teacher at Starr Elementary! A proud Crescent High School graduate, Brandon previously spent seven years teaching at Starr before serving the past two years as the Early Care and Education Program Director at Tri-County Technical College.
Brandon earned his Bachelor's degree from Clemson University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Anderson University, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

Congratulations to Iva Elementary 2nd Grader Remingtyn “Remi” Hester! 💙👑🎉
Remi was recently crowned Miss Elementary America - 2nd Grade at the 2026 America Pageant in Little Rock, Arkansas!
Representing South Carolina with the East Coast State Title, Remi competed against 32 other second graders from across the country. Along with the national title, she earned a $5,000 scholarship, a cruise, a modeling contract, and many other prizes.
We are incredibly proud of Remi for representing so well! Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! 🎉

Ally will be joining the K4 team at Iva Elementary. A native of Due West and proud Dixie High School graduate, she recently earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lander University.
Ms. Lynch is passionate about helping young learners develop a love of school from the very beginning and is excited to make a positive impact on her students' lives.

After 28 years of dedicated service in Anderson 3, Mrs. Holbrook is retiring from Iva Elementary, where she has spent the past seven years teaching K4. 💛🖤
A Crescent High School graduate, Mrs. Holbrook's Anderson 3 journey began as a substitute teacher before serving as a self-contained assistant at Starr Elementary, teaching Kindergarten for 14 years, and ultimately finding her home in K4 at Iva Elementary.
Mrs. Holbrook says she will miss watching the incredible growth students make throughout the school year, especially seeing children gain confidence and develop new skills.
"Every child is different. Meet them where they are. Help them find their strengths. Encourage them to progress. Guide them to learn in whatever way works for them. Every child is smart in their own way, and they can all be successful with the help and guidance of a good teacher."

With 12 years of experience, Ms. Latham is a truly multifaceted educator who brings energy, joy, and heart into everything she does. Her fun-loving, outgoing spirit creates a classroom where our kindergarteners feel welcome, valued, and excited to learn each day.
She has a special gift for seeing the greatness in every child, always finding the good, lifting them up, and helping them build confidence from the very start. Her warm presence has brought so much positivity and life to Iva Elementary, making a lasting impact on both students and colleagues. 💛
