Construction progress continues at the future Crescent Middle School site, with several important sitework milestones completed throughout May and June.
Crews have continued making progress on the site’s retention pond, which will play an important role in stormwater management for the new campus. Work has also continued on the installation of storm structures and drainage across the property, helping prepare the site for the next phases of construction.
One of the most visible updates is the completion of the building pad stone. With this work now complete, the future layout of Crescent Middle School is becoming much easier to see. The building footprint is now evident, giving the community a clearer look at where the new school will stand.
In addition to the building pad, the future car loop, bus loop, and parking lot areas are also beginning to take shape. These areas are an important part of the overall campus design and will help support safer, more efficient traffic flow for students, families, staff, buses, and visitors once the school opens.
The progress made over the past two months marks another exciting step forward in the construction of Crescent Middle School. What was once an open site is now beginning to show the shape of a future campus built to serve Anderson 3 students for generations to come.
