Anderson School District Three has once again proven that being small and rural doesnโ€™t mean small results. According to SchoolDigger.comโ€™s 2025 South Carolina District Rankings, Anderson 3 ranked #6 out of 75 districts statewide, placing among the very best in academics and student growth.

Across the district, students performed exceptionally in both English Language Arts and Math:

  • ๐Ÿ“š 3rd Grade ELA & Math โ€“ Both met the SCDE Vision 2030 benchmark of 75% Meets & Exceeds

  • โœ๏ธ English 2 โ€“ Ranked #2 in South Carolina

  • ๐Ÿงฌ Biology 1 โ€“ Ranked #4 in South Carolina

  • โœจ ELA Overall (Grades 3โ€“6) โ€“ Top 8 in SC

  • โž— Math Overall (Grades 3, 4, 6 & 7) โ€“ Top 8 in SC

Anderson 3 Superintendent Kathy Hipp credited the districtโ€™s teachers, staff, and leadership for staying focused on quality instruction and relationships that drive results.

โ€œThese results reflect the daily commitment of our teachers, students, and families. Our community believes in the power of public education, and these scores show that belief in action,โ€ said Hipp. โ€œWeโ€™re proud to be Uncommon in how we care, teach, and lead.โ€

With multiple schools exceeding the stateโ€™s โ€œMeets and Exceedsโ€ goals, Anderson 3 stands as a model of whatโ€™s possible when a district refuses to let size or poverty define outcomes.
