During the April meeting of the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees, the board approved the administration's recommendation for Tracy Richardson to become transportation Director for the 2025-2026 school year.
With over three decades of experience, Ms. Richardson brings expertise and a heart for service to this vital leadership role.
Tracy has faithfully served Anderson 3 for over 33 years as a dedicated bus driver, earning the respect of students, families, and colleagues. In addition to her years behind the wheel, she has served as the district’s Safety Officer and has been instrumental in training and testing new drivers as an on-site instructor for many years. Her commitment to safety, excellence, and professionalism has made a lasting impact on our transportation department and community.
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Mrs. Richardson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, further enhancing her skills in logistics, data management, and technology integration.
"Tracy’s unmatched experience in student transportation, which spans more than three decades, makes her more than qualified to lead this department,” said Deputy Superintendent Dr. David Nixon. “She has safely transported generations of Anderson 3 students and has trained countless drivers with the same high standards she holds herself to. Her leadership is rooted in firsthand experience, and there's no one more equipped to guide our transportation team forward.”
