Commendations
Sydney Rich, a senior at Crescent High School, was recognized for her 3rd Place finish in the 2024 South Carolina Business Plan Competition.
Over 60 students from schools statewide gathered in May to present business plans, marking the culmination of their entrepreneurship class. These presentations, aligned with South Carolinaβs graduation standards for financial literacy, showcased their entrepreneurial ambitions. In a format that combines βShark Tankβ and March Madness, local business professionals had the opportunity to evaluate the studentsβ business plans and provide valuable feedback. The panel of judges consisted of prominent businessmen and women from the local community.
Sydney, whose enterprise βCrazy Crochetβ clinched third place, received $1,000 in seed money.
Congratulations, Sydney!
