Crescent High School welcomes Amanda Taylor as Assistant Principal. Taylor replaces Lydia Moyer, who retired in June after 33 years in education. Mrs. Taylor was born and raised in Anderson, SC. She is a 2011 graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education an in 2014 earned her Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Anderson University. Throughout her career, Taylor has served as a math teacher and instructional coach in Anderson School Districts 3 and 5. As Crescent's Assistant Principal, Taylor will be overseeing school operations such as classroom instruction and testing. Mrs. Taylor lives in Starr with her husband, Spencer, and their two sons, Warden and McCauley.

Starr-Iva Middle School welcomes Christina McCurley to a new Assistant Principal Position that was added due to the growing needs of Starr-Iva. She brings with her 12 years of administrative experience with a total of 23 years in education, all spent in Anderson 5. McCurley loves middle school and has had the opportunity to teach multiple subjects in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Christina is married to Chad McCurley, and they have two children, Ross and Amelia.

Iva Elementary School welcomes Meredith Dantzler as the Assistant Principal of Instruction. Dantzler replaces Emily Wilson, who accepted a position with the South Carolina Department of Education. Mrs. Dantzler holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the College of Charleston and a Master's Degree in Education from Anderson University. She recently graduated from Clemson University with an Educational Specialist in Administration and Supervision (Ed.S.) degree. During her career, Meredith has had the opportunity to teach 1st and 3rd grade at Starr Elementary. Meredith and her husband Zach are newlyweds and live in Anderson with their dog, banks.

The job title of "Instructional Facilitator" has recently been changed to "Assistant Principal of Instruction" at the elementary level to better represent the job responsibilities.
