At the February meeting of the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees, the board recognized Joseph Burton, a 5th Grader from Iva Elementary, named Anderson 3's 2024 Spelling Bee Winner. 🐝

The board recognized Ava Ware, a 5th Grader at Iva Elementary, as a Winter Warrior Archery Champion. Iva Elementary is in its inaugural year of competing in archery. Excellent job, Ava!
The board also celebrated four teachers who received either National Board Certification (NBCT) or the National Board's Maintenance of Certification.

Special Recognition
In addition to the board commendations, Mrs. Hipp welcomed six valued Anderson 3 partners to thank them for their support, especially during the District Office Consolidation Project. These local and state representatives were instrumental in bringing collaboration to improve services for the Town of Iva while also allowing the district to meet its growing needs. Thanks to them, Anderson County will soon break ground on a state-of-the-art library serving Starr-Iva residents in the heart of town.
