Amy Russell

My name is Amy Russell and I have been a part of Anderson School District Three for most of my life. I attended Iva Elementary and Starr-Iva Middle School and I am a graduate of Crescent High School. After graduation, I attended Erskine College, where I earned my BA in English. I began my career in teaching at Calhoun Falls High School before coming home to District Three.

I have always wanted to be a teacher; my grandmother, mother, brother, sister-in-law, aunts and even my husband are or have been teachers, which means our family gatherings are always lively as we share our latest successes and challenges.

I am currently enrolled at the University of South Carolina, pursuing a Masters of Library and Information Science. When I am away from my classroom or graduate courses, you can find me with my husband and our children. We will most likely be either on a little league ball field, at church, or on our farm, tending to our chickens, cows, or goats.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you and let's work together to bring our students to the highest level imaginable.
