Attention all IES K5 Parents: We wanted to celebrate our little graduates, so we will be having a “Drive-Thru Graduation Ceremony” on Tuesday, May 19th from 9:00am- 11:00am and then again from 5:00pm-7:00 pm. Parents will pull into the car line in single file, and teachers will escort students one at a time to give them their graduation hat and take a formal graduation picture in front of a fun backdrop. Then, teachers will escort the student back to their respective car and get the next student in line. Please dress your student in their best, and meet us at IES on May 19th to help us recognize our K5 grads. We can’t wait to see you and our sweet kiddos!

IES Families, Tomorrow, we will have a materials pickup in the car rider line at the back of the school from 8am-2pm. Parents picking up chrome books for grades 3-5 and possibly e-learning packets as well will go through the left lane in an effort to sign out chrome books. Parents picking up necessary e-learning packets ONLY will go through the right lane of traffic. Please do NOT get out of your car. We will deliver everything to you as quickly as possible. Check with your student and your student’s teacher to ensure they have what they need. If they are K-2 and have their e-learning packets for the extended break, you do not have to come pick up materials. This materials pickup tomorrow is only for students who do not have necessary materials with them at this time in order to complete the extended elearning assignments from Wednesday, March 18th until the end of the month. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher or call the school in the morning. We are more than happy to help as we are navigating this process for the first time alongside you. Thank you for your support. We hope you and your families stay healthy, and we are already missing your sweet children.
